Chilton Farm Campsite
The Site:
The campsite block is brick built, and comprises a large hall with an open fire place, (ideal as a meeting/activity room during inclement weather) with double wide sliding doors opening onto the site.
An adjacent block contains flush toilets.
Cooking: Four large gas rings are available for use, and wood fires are permitted. Please note there is a large supply of wood on site.
Parking: The Car park, when empty, is large enough for a minibus to turn in, and will easily hold twelve properly parked cars
The farm road to the site must be kept clear at all times.

Prices:
Overnight charges:
Equipped £3.00 per camper per night, plus electricity and gas
Unequipped £2.00 per camper per night, plus electricity and gas
Day Charges:
Field only: £5 for a ½ day or evening; £10 for all day
Hut only: £5 for a ½ day or evening; £5 for all day
Field and Hut for all day £15
Activities available on the site:
There are many walks on Public Footpaths from the campsite – details on are on a laminated map in the hut.
An orienteering Course can be set up with prior notice.
Activities in the Local Area and Places of Interest:
The nearest village is Wroughton, which has ample shopping facilities, places of worship, a swimming pool, and buses to nearby Swindon.
Swindon has a good shopping centre, with large sports and recreational complexes and has access to mainline Bus and Railway stations.
Within easy reach of the campsite are:
Coate Water, Lydiard County Park, Barbary Country Park, Savernake Forest, Wiltshire White Horses, Hill forts, Walks along the Redgeway, Water Parks at Ashton Keynes.
